What are the Most Important Factors Affecting GoogleRanking?
There are many factors which affect the google ranking of your page. In this article we are going to indicate the most important factors that really affect the google ranking of any web page. We have divided these factors into various categories for your convenience.1) Page Content and Google RankingYou should well place your keywords in your page contents to get the good search engine rankings.
1) Add Keyword in Title Tag
2) Add Keyword in regular text in a natural amount like 1-3%
3) Use your Keywords in the start of your page like first paragraph
4) Use your Keyword in Tags like H1, H2, H3, bold etc
5) You can also use Keyword in links
6) Uee Keyword in naming the image files
7) Properly use the Keywor in Meta Tags
8) You can also use the Keyword in Alt Tags of image etc
2) Links of your Page and Google Ranking
1) Total number of incoming links must be as more as possible. Also called back links.
2) Links from high PR sites are very important. If the back link sites are matching with your theme then it will be a great help
3) The contents of the site of inbound links should match your page contents
4) Having Keywords in the anchor text of incoming links
5) Having keywords in internal links within the site and menues
6) Age of the incoming links (Currently links less than 3-6 months old, may not even get counted)
7) One-way links may get more credit than 2-way or recprical Links
8) Links coming from pages with less outgoing links are better. Links coming from pages with over 100 links are no good.
3) Factors that may count against you
a- Too much keyword repetition
b- Hidden content via text same color as background or CSS or other such methods
c- Javascript Redirects or certain other redirects
d- Cross linking bunch of sites to eac other in the same network
e- Doorway pages. Pages that are specifically written for search engines and cannot be found by your site visitors via your normal navifation menues.
f- PPC (SPAM/Pills/Casino) : Adult, Pharmacy and Casino related content
g- Duplicate content : watch out for those duplicate filters. Make sure your site doesn't have content from other sites or no one else has copied you.
h- Age of your domain. Brand new or less than 6-month old domains may be in the Google Sandbox
i- Participating in Link Farms or services that try to artificially increase your links by doing shortcuts
j- Cloaking : Showing a page to search engines different than what the users see based on their IP address
